Day 1:

Pickup form NJP/Bagdogra and proceed to Gangtok.

Nestled at a height of 1670 meters (5480 feet), Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim. The beautiful hill station is a land of tranquility, adventure, monasteries, mystic rituals & festivals and natural beauty. The hill station boasts of picturesque views of snowcapped peaks with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids and butterflies. Romantic yet adventurous, it's a perfect place to start a memorable tour of East Sikkim.

Check into hotel for an Over Night stay at Gangtok. The Evening is free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center. Check out the beautiful handicrafts. Be back to the hotel on time. Take ample rest in your hotel room and enjoy the leisure activities of the hotel property.
Day 2:

Gangtok Sightseeing

Full day Gangtok local sightseeing spots includes, Rumtek Dharma Chakra Monastery, Santi Botanical Garden, Kanchandzonga Tourist Villa, Ban Jhakri waterfalls, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (NIT) Handloom and Handicraft, Bakthang Waterfalls, Tashi View point, Ganesh Tok, Himalayan Zoological Park, Hanumak Tok, Enchey Monastery, Ridge Park, Flower Show, Namnang View Point, Deorali Ropeway. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 3:

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, Nathu La & Gnathang Valley

Start your Morning with a delicious breakfast at hotel. Next is the excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir which is nearly 40 kilometers. The beautiful Tsomgo Lake is an oval shaped glacial lake. 1km in length and nearly 50 feet in depth, the lake lies at an altitude of 12,400 ft. Though covered in snow for most of the year, Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds call it home. Enjoy the view of birds, rest on the lake banks and snap ample pictures to make the moment memorable. On the banks of the lake lies a sacred Lord Shiva Mandir. The holy site should be visited as well.

Baba Mandir is another sight to visit. The temple is name after an army man; Baba Harbhajan Singh who sacrificed his life for the nation. Hailed as "Hero of Nathula" the Sikh is revered as a deity. The drive to Nathu La Pass, entry to Republic of China is nearly 20 kilometers and is an optional tour. The beauty of the place and the thrill of being almost to another nation tempts you for a ride.

Then you will head to the picturesque Gnathang Valley, a small valley perched in the snow desert with a serene and calm environment. After a brief tour to the valley, you will head towards the winding road of Dzuluk, the famous Silk Route. You will rest in a homestay in Dzuluk as there is lots to explore, enjoy and cherish the next day.

(In case of landslide or any reasons if Tsogmo Lake route is closed, alternative sightseeing will be provided.)
Day 4:

Dzuluk, Thambi View Point, Dalapchand Mang Khim, Padamchen & Aritar Lake

If you can resist the chilly cold at Dzuluk and wish to see the sunrise, you may get up early and drive to the Thambi View Point to see the majestic view of sunrise early morning. During this visit, you may stroll around and capture the moments at the winding road of Dzuluk, the famous Silk Route. After coming back to the homestay and a good breakfast, you will start your drive towards Aritar Lake.

On the way you will come across beautiful villages of Padamchen and Dalapchand. The JN Road through which you will be travelling has its own beauty and significance that you may have never witnessed before. After a few hours of drive you will reach the Aritar Lake. Aritar Lake also known as Lampokhri is 1120 feet long and 240 feet wide boot-shaped lake, and is one of the oldest natural lakes in Sikkim. A pathway has been recently constructed all around the lake for the tourists. You can also do boating in the Lampokhari lake. Located at an altitude of 4600 feet, Lampokhri lake also known as Aritar Lake is surrounded by verdant green pine forests.

Then we will drive you back to Gangtok where you can spend the evening leisure time strolling around MG Marg and buying souvenirs for the people at home. Overnight stay at Gangtok Hotel.

Day 5:

Drop to Bagdogra Air Port/ NJP Rail Station.

After a lavish rest, get up in the Morning for breakfast. After concluding your meal, pack your bags as your ride awaits. Get your ride back to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). The nearly 135 kilometers will be covered in 4.5 to 5 hours' drive. Return home with cherished memories of Complete East Sikkim tour.
